Also since it's a UK boot disc disc included, won't that only work on PAL Gamecubes? I understand it's a great device though, and the GBI is better than the stock software. It is actually around $40-$45 when you include the 5GBP shipping here, so it is similar in price to the discs on ebay, not including having to go out and buy an SD card. I was aware of the SD launcher - however I am undecided on it. If for some reason you still prefer the inferior (and more expensive) GB Player disc, I'd be willing to sell it to you as I no longer need it but to be clear, I do NOT recommend you buy one! Not only is this solution infinitely better than the stock disc, but it's also a lot cheaper (about $20 CAD for you) I can't recommend it enough, I use it with my Everdrive GB and GBA carts, and it's truly night and day compared to the disc GB Player disc. You don't even have to mod your Cube to use it, all you would need is one of these (as well as a compatible SD card) to load the app: It rectifies all of the problems of the original Game Boy Player if you're unfamiliar with the inherent deficiencies, here's a recent article with an embedded video that breaks it all down: To be honest I'd strongly recommend another method of playing GB/GBC/GBA games on the Cube, the home-brew application The Game boy Interface: Hey dude, I have an NTSC US Gameboy Player startup boot disc in the original case in great shape.
